Perfect Process
The Perfect Process Program will help you keep adware/spyware
and Backdoors in a short lease.
The Perfect Process shield
stops backdoors and other pests like spyware and worms when entering the
computer. Making users able to stop the attack before it begins.
The
Shield also stops Qhost(Hosts) virus attacks and protects Internet Explorer's
start and search page and other
options. The startups is
also scanned. All this is done in real time. Startup is the place where Backdoors and Spyware often
hide out.
The Perfect Process Admin scan the entire disk
for spyware/adware worms and other annoying pests.
On top of this Perfect Process Admin scan hosts on
the entire network and reveals running backdoors and spywares like
'MSblast'.
Scanning of IP ranges
can be started to make
scanning
of the entire network
easier
without knowing the exact IP adresse or name of the hosts in the network.

Scan Options
The scan option menu.
Full process Report : A detailed report of all running processes on a Host.
This option can be used both
locally and
on remote hosts.
Scan running Process's : Scan all running processes
on the selected host. Used both remote and locally.
This scan will reveal any unwanted
processes running on the host and make a detailed report
of the findings.
Scan Disk : Scan the local disks for any unwanted programs like backdoors
spyware/adware.
Exclude File & dirs : File and/or directorys that should be
exclude from the scan. The selected files and directorys is excluded Both in the Admin and in the shield.
Network Scan : Scan hosts in the network (LAN). More info

Search Options
The search option
searches through
the entire database of Perfect process Pro admin
The search option can be very
helpful to many users including IT Supports and network administrators.
If unknown processes are
detected on hosts
that are not running Perfect process or when
a user ask for detailed help on a
running process on their machine
a quick search in the database can reveal info and details on the process in
question.

Scan Network for Spywares and backdoors
To set up a network-scan users must be sure that
they have admin rights in the
Network/Domain that they are going to scan.
If the
currently logged on user does not have admin rights
an admin user can be chosen from the
network scan dialog :
Other options in the network scan are :
Check for all known Spy/scum/ad ware
Will check the remote hosts for all Spywares/backdoors that
occurs in the Antispyware database.
Check for specified Process
Will check
if the manually
typed in process-filename
is running or not running on
the remote hosts and report
this.
Before the Scan Task is started network hosts has to be
chosen :
Press the "add computers" and browse the network for remote hosts that
should be included in the scan.
Press the "add ip range" Button if an IP range should be scanned.
Note : IPRange-scan is only available in PRO
version
After the hosts and IP ranges has been selected, save the task
and start the scan task by pressing "run task".
Schedule updates
Schedule options can be found in Perfect Process Admin.
Select
the
schedule type and
time for
Perfect process
to look for updates and
choose the location
where to obtain
the updates.
Choose type
Daily,
Weekly or at startup.
Run missed tasks
If checked Perfect Process will
run update tasks that has missed
the scheduled time.
Get updates from VelociWare.dk
If checked the client will
connect to www.veloci.dk site for new updates
Update from the network (LAN)
If Checked the client will
connect to the
specified share
and obtain the updates
located on a local host in the LAN.
Copy files to share point after...
If checked the
client will place the updates on a share in the network
or locally for other Perfect process network clients to use. The other network clients should have
Update from the network (LAN)
checked and set to this share location.
Note: Schedule will only run if
Perfect Process Shield is running
on the host. The Shield is
running as Default on all hosts
that have Perfect Process installed.
